Consul General Ferrer Joins Celebrations For Philippines Airlines’ Maiden Manila-Seattle-Manila Flight

CONSUL GENERAL FERRER JOINS CELEBRATIONS FOR PHILIPPINE AIRLINES’ MAIDEN MANILA-SEATTLE-MANILA FLIGHT

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON, USA –  Philippine Consul General to San Francisco Neil Ferrer joined officials of the Philippine Airlines (PAL), Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and the Port of Seattle, as well as members of the Filipino American community, in celebrating the inaugural direct flight of the country’s flag carrier Philippine Airlines from Seattle to Manila on October 2, 2024. He also joined the Welcome Reception and Gala hosted by PAL and SEA at Chihuly Garden and Glass on October 3, 2024.

He was joined by Philippine Department of Tourism – San Francisco Representative Soleil Tropicales, and  Tourism Assistant Stephanie Marie Emilia Hermoso.

In his speech during the reception and gala, Consul General Ferrer said, “The new direct flight between Manila and Seattle will undoubtedly foster not only people-to-people relations between the Philippines and Washington state, but it will also present more opportunities to expand trade, investments, tourism, and other engagements between the Philippines and the US Pacific Northwest.”
