Consul General Ferrer Explores Initiatives to Preserve, Promote Philippine Culture with Cultural Exec Carlo Ebeo

CONSUL GENERAL FERRER EXPLORES INITIATIVES TO PRESERVE, PROMOTE PHILIPPINE CULTURE WITH PH CULTURAL EXEC CARLO EBEO

Consul General Neil Ferrer met with visiting Philippine cultural official Carlo Ebeo at Sentro Rizal of the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco on 7 February 2024. Consul General Ferrer was accompanied by Deputy Consul General Raquel Solano and Vice Consul Adrian Baccay, while Ebeo was joined by San Francisco-based performing arts group Kulintang Arts (Kularts) Artistic Director Alleluia Panis, and Sama culture bearer Al-Raffy Alnado Harun.

Consul General Ferrer and Ebeo discussed the international launch in San Francisco of the “Book Nook” Project of the National Book Development Board (NBDB), and other Philippine cultural preservation and promotion initiatives in the Bay Area.

Ebeo is currently serving in various roles for Philippine cultural government agencies including NBDB, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and the National Museum of the Philippines. (San Francisco PCG photos)
