ANCHORAGE, ALASKA, USA – The Philippine Consul General in San Francisco Neil Frank Ferrer met with Mr. Randy Ruaro, Executive Director of Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority (AIDEA) on 22 September 2024 at the AIDEA’s office in Anchorage.
Both sides discussed possible endeavors on energy, particularly harnessing renewable energy in the Philippines. They also expressed intent on the sharing of best practices in the energy sector, especially in the utilization of innovative technologies.
Other topics discussed include the promotion of Alaskan seafood in the Philippines, and ways to hire more Filipino workers to Alaska. END
