Advisory on Remote Notarization

ADVISORY ON REMOTE NOTARIZATION

The public is hereby informed that they may avail of remote notarization only in cases where the principal signatory is unable to appear in person at the Consulate General due to extended travel or social mobility restrictions, such as in times of a state of emergency, health crisis and other prolonged incidents endangering public safety.

Outside of these cases, applicants may either walk-in at the Consulate for notarization, subject to capacity limitations, or apply for an Apostille with the Secretary of State (Lieutenant Governor in Alaska and Utah) where they are residing. For further information, please e-mail [email protected].
