PH Consulate and ASEAN Missions in San Francisco Celebrate ASEAN Day

12 August 2026 – The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco hosted an ASEAN Flag Ceremony on 07 August 2026, bringing together representatives of the four ASEAN diplomatic missions in San Francisco—Indonesia, Singapore, Viet Nam, and the Philippines—to commemorate ASEAN’s shared identity and reaffirm their commitment to regional cooperation. The ceremony provided a meaningful occasion to celebrate ASEAN solidarity and the enduring principles of unity in diversity, mutual respect, and collective action. In a video message commemorating the 59th Founding Anniversary of ASEAN, President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. underscored the Philippine Government’s commitment to the successful implementation of its ASEAN Chairmanship and highlighted the country’s priorities and vision for the ASEAN Community in the years ahead.
