SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – Ahead of their “Biyaya” U.S. concert tour, Filipino real-life singing couple Charlotte Mae Bactong and Jeffrey Bactong Jr., more popularly known as “Sweetnotes Music”, visited the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco on 1 July 2026. Joining them was fellow rising Filipino artist “Aera” widely recognized online as Aera Covers who will also perform during the concert series.
During the visit, Sweetnotes and Aera shared their inspiring journey to success, describing their breakthrough as “unexpected” during the pandemic period. Drawing from their passion for music and their previous experience as overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) engaged in music-related work, the couple began sharing heartfelt renditions of timeless classics on social media. Their performances quickly resonated with audiences, helping them build a loyal following and establish a growing presence both in the Philippines and abroad.
On 3 July 2026, Sweetnotes will headline a concert at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center in San Francisco, California. Additional performances throughout July are scheduled in San Diego, California (5 July), Stockton, California (11 July), Los Angeles, California (12 July), Houston, Texas (17 July), Amarillo, Texas (19 July), Portland, Oregon (24 July), and Seattle, Washington (25 July). The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco commends Sweetnotes and Aera for showcasing Filipino talent on the international stage and expresses its best wishes for their continued success in the music industry.END
