Pilipino Senior Resource Center Hosts Heartwarming Fellowship Event with the Seniors

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – The Pilipino Senior Resource Center (PSRC) hosted its regular social gathering for the seniors on 19 May 2026 at the PSRC office in Mission St., San Francisco. The event featured a celebration honoring members whose birthdays fell between March and May, as well as a post-Mother’s Day tribute to the Center’s senior mothers.
Consul General Arnel G. Talisayon, who joined the celebration, took the opportunity to reach out to the seniors and introduce himself to the attendees. In his remarks, he reaffirmed the Philippine Consulate’s commitment to supporting and working closely with PSRC in serving the Filipino American senior community. Consul General Talisayon also conducted a brief consultation session with the seniors, during which he addressed their questions and concerns. Discussions focused primarily on the consular services provided by the Consulate and ways to make these services even more accessible to community members.
The gathering provided an opportunity for fellowship, celebration, and meaningful engagement between the Consulate and the senior Filipino American community in San Francisco.
The Pilipino Senior Resource Center is a non-profit organization based in San Francisco that provides quality services and support to Filipino seniors and their families living in the South of Market (SoMa) district and neighboring communities. Through its various programs and activities, the Center seeks to enhance the well-being and quality of life of Filipino seniors while fostering community connections and access to essential services.END
