SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco welcomed Mr. Joel Kaplan, COO and Co-founder of Nomsi®, during a courtesy call on 18 December 2025 at the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco.

Nomsi® is a U.S.-based premium beverage brand celebrating Filipino tropical fruits, especially calamansi and Philippine mango. The company offers vegan-friendly, ethically sourced beverages free from high-fructose corn syrup, GMOs, and artificial flavors. Its products are currently available in select stores, including Seafood City and 99 Ranch, and have recently transitioned from bottles to aluminum cans to enable broader retail expansion.

During the meeting, Nomsi® outlined its growth strategy, including partnerships with Filipino community organizations, local grocers, national distributors like Costco, event caterers, and college campuses. The company is also exploring investment opportunities with a Filipino-based venture capital firm and potential marketing initiatives in the Philippines.

The Consulate expressed strong support for Nomsi®’s expansion and offered strategic assistance through Consulate-led events, media features during Filipino Food Month, and connections to Filipino-American Chambers of Commerce and trade resources in the U.S. These efforts aim to promote Nomsi®’s growth while strengthening Filipino heritage, culture, and economic ties between the Philippines and Filipino-American communities.
