SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco welcomed Filipino author, speaker, Cultural Intelligence Fellow, and consultant Mr. Ned Legaspi on 9 December 2025. He was accompanied by Ms. Elisa Cabahug, Managing Director of ABS-CBN Foundation International, as well as Filipino American community members and advocates of his book, Mr. Eric Pugeda and Mr. Conrado Cruz.

During his courtesy call, Mr. Legaspi shared that his visit to the Consulate formed part of his U.S. tour to attend conferences and deliver talks on his book, Culturally Intelligent Storytelling for Southeast Asian Creators: A Framework for Crafting Narratives that Resonate Across Cultures. He expressed interest in exploring potential partnerships with the Consulate, particularly in organizing talks and workshops on the Cultural Intelligence framework not only for storytelling but also for essential life and professional skills for high school students, including management, understanding business environments, and navigating cross-generational dynamics.

Mr. Legaspi’s publication serves as a practical guide for content creators seeking to expand their reach and strengthen their impact on global audiences. The Consulate and Mr. Legaspi will explore potential projects leveraging the Philippines’ chairship of ASEAN in 2026.

On 6 December 2025, ABS-CBN Foundation International, in collaboration with Kapwa Kollective, hosted Mr. Legaspi’s NedTalks@SentroFilipino: The Fil-Am Creative Conversation Book Launch + Talk at Sentro Filipino in San Francisco.

In 2024, Mr. Legaspi became the only Filipino accepted into the prestigious Cultural Intelligence Fellowship under renowned social scientist Dr. David Livermore, author of several award-winning books and advisor to Fortune 500 companies, governments, and nonprofit organizations. He completed the year-long certification program, and his book features a foreword written by Dr. Livermore.END
