INVITATION: BEYOND BORDER WALLS 2025: VOICES NEAR AND FAR CONCERT
This November, catch the fourth installment of Golden Gate Symphony Orchestra & Chorus (GGSOC)’s Beyond the Border Wall concert series, a meaningful tradition designed to remind audiences that music unites us across all barriers.
Beyond Border Walls 2025: Voices Near and Far will feature compositions by renowned San Francisco-based artist, John Calloway. It will also feature the Filipino musical masterpiece “Lahing Kayumanggi, a symphonic poem dedicated to the heroic struggle of the Filipino people by National Artist of the Philippines Lucio San Pedro. Kulintang Dialect, a Bay Area based kulintang band will also perform alongside the orchestra. Misa Criolla from Argentina, and the world premiere of Last Light – Symphony No. 1 by Bay Area composer Benjamin Gribble will also be highlighted during the concert.
