SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – The Consulate General of the Philippines in San Francisco, headed by Consul General Neil Frank Ferrer, graced the 27th annual Flores De Mayo and Santacruzan 2025 on 30 May 2025 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
The event featured a procession by the lolas, hailed as ‘reynas’ or festival queens, who wore colorful gowns and Filipiniana attires, and a program with cultural presentations which included traditional dances rendered by students from the Galing Bata program of the Filipino Education Center (FEC).
The event, hosted by Canon Kip Senior Center of Episcopal Community Services and held in partnership with SOMA Pilipinas, Filipino Service Providers Network (FSPN) and the Pilipino Senior Resource Center, is a celebration of Philippine culture and community that engages Filipinos and Filipino Americans of all ages.
