PH CONSULATE GRACES INAUGURATION OF NEW OFFICERS OF UNITED PANGASINANES OF AMERICA INC.
Consul General Neil Ferrer and Deputy Consul General Maria Paz Cortes attended the 53rd Inaugural Banquet and Ball for the new officers of the United Pangasinanes of America Inc. (UPAI), held on 5 April 2025 at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Foster City, California.
In his message, Consul General Ferrer extended his best wishes to UPAI’s new President Charito Roxas-Wui and the organization’s incoming set of officers, and expressed his gratitude to the outgoing UPAI leadership, headed by Past President Alvin Padilla.
Consul General Ferrer invited UPAI’s members to the 2025 Very Important Pinoy (VIP) Tour, which will visit Laoag and Vigan in the Ilocos Region in July, and sought their support for the sister city partnership between Dagupan City and Milpitas, California, which was forged during the time of then-Milpitas Mayor and proud Pangasinan native Joe Esteves. He also encouraged the group’s active participation in the upcoming Overseas Voting for the 2025 Philippine National Elections which, for the first time, will be conducted purely online.
The celebration coincided with the 445th Foundation Day of the Province of Pangasinan. Also in attendance was Fil-Am Daly City, California Councilmember and former Mayor Juslyn Manalo. (San Francisco PCG photos)
