SAN JOSE SHARKS TREATS FIL-AM FANS WITH FILIPINO HERITAGE NIGHT
The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco, represented by Vice Consul Adrian Baccay, attended Filipino Heritage Night of the San Jose Sharks at the SAP Center in San Jose, California on 20 March 2025, featuring the home team’s game against the visiting Carolina Hurricanes.
The Sharks Filipino Heritage Night is the first Filipino heritage event held by the Bay Area’s professional sports teams in 2025. Upcoming events include: the Golden State Warriors’ second Filipino Heritage Night of the 2024-2025 NBA season on 6 April 2025; the San Jose Earthquakes’ Filipino Heritage Night on 20 September 2025; and the San Francisco Giants’ Filipino Heritage Night on 23 September 2025.
