The Consulate conveyed its best wishes to UC Davis Chancellor Gary May, and UC Davis Global Affairs Vice Provost and Dean Joanna Regulska.

The Consulate also met former Davis, California Mayor Dr. Ruth Uy Asmundson—the first-ever Filipino American woman mayor in Northern California—and Central Luzon State University professor and Humphrey fellow Gella Patria Abella.

UC Davis is home to more than 9,000 international students from 100 countries. UC Davis faculty also conducts year-round “Study Abroad” visits and other activities in various countries, including United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs)-related research. (San Francisco PCG photos)
