PH Consulate Reaffirms Collaboration with San Francisco Government, Meets New Chief of Protocol

PH CONSULATE REAFFIRMS COLLABORATION WITH SAN FRANCISCO GOVERNMENT, MEETS NEW CHIEF OF PROTOCOL

SAN FRANCISCO, USA – Philippine Consul General Neil Ferrer met with Penny Coulter, the newly appointed Chief of Protocol of the City and County of San Francisco, on 19 February 2025 at the San Francisco City Hall.

Protocol Chief Coulter graciously welcomed the delegation and expressed willingness to provide any assistance to the Consulate.

Consul General Ferrer reaffirmed the Consulate’s commitment to collaborate with the City and County of San Francisco in various areas of mutual interests. He expressed appreciation for the government’s support for the Consulate’s programs and activities and requested continued assistance for upcoming events and celebrations, including the Philippine Independence Day on June 12, and Filipino American History Month every October.

Consul General Ferrer and Protocol Chief Coulter discussed areas for collaboration such as partnerships with San Francisco tech companies and businesses, facilitating high-level visits from the Philippines, and enhancing people-to-people engagements, including through the Manila-San Francisco Sister City relations. 

The meeting underscored the shared commitment to deepening engagement and collaboration between the Consulate and San Francisco, fostering stronger ties and mutual support in various areas of cooperation. END
