Philippine Consul General in San Francisco Neil Frank R. Ferrer, accompanied by Consul Rowena Pangilinan- Daquipil and PTIC-SV Trade Commissioner Anne Marie Kristine Umali, welcomed Ms. Lennie Buenaflor Dicarlo, CEO and owner of Xroads Philippine Sea Salts.
Xroads Philippine Sea Salts offers hand-crafted culinary sea salts while priding itself in empowering small communities in the Philippines and helping to revitalize the sea salt industry. The company also utilizes Philippine-made native products such as banig baskets and sinamay bags to package their sea salts for the global market.
During the call, Chef DiCarlo shared her endeavor to fully promote the Philippine Sea Salt and to introduce the Asin Tibuok- a rare “unbroken” artisanal sea salt, to the international market. In response, Consul General Ferrer lauded her passion in promoting the PH Sea Salt industry and assured her of the Consulate’s support in her future projects and activities in the Bay Area. END
