Philippine Consul General to San Francisco Neil Frank Ferrer paid a courtesy call on Kodiak Island Borough Deputy Presiding Officer Scott Smiley at the Kodiak Island Borough Office on 24 September 2024, at the sidelines of the consular outreach program of the Philippine Consulate General in the city.
The Kodiak Island Borough is a political subdivision of the State of Alaska that provides services and exercises powers on a regional basis, including the zoning, census and management of elections in Kodiak. Based on past federal, state and local elections, there has been at least twenty percent (20%) voting turn-out from the Filipino American Community. END
