PH Consulate in San Francisco Attends Inaugural Alameda Filipino Island Fest

PH CONSULATE IN SAN FRANCISCO ATTENDS INAUGURAL ALAMEDA FILIPINO ISLAND FEST

The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco, represented by Consul Rowena Pangilinan-Daquipil, joined the festivities at the first ever Alameda Filipino Island Fest at Alameda Waterfront Park on 5 October 2024.

Over 12,000 graced the event, according to the organizers, which featured local artists, live bands, and cultural dances on the stage. There were many food vendors, including those that featured Filipino flavors, and those offering mouth-watering desserts and refreshing drinks. Local artisans also sold unique pieces of clothing, jewelries, books, and arts and crafts. There was also a wellness zone, sports zone, and kids zone ensuring that the event offers activities to all members of the family. END
