PH CONSULATE JOINS FANHS EAST BAY CHAPTER’S CELEBRATION OF FIL-AM HISTORY MONTH
The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco joined the Filipino American National Historical Society (FANHS) East Bay Chapter in its celebration of Filipino American History Month at the Hayward Unified School District Performing Arts Center in Hayward, California on 5 October 2024.
Vice Consul Adrian Baccay thanked the FANHS East Bay Chapter, including founder Linda Canlas and current President Peter Bufete, for its efforts in propagating Fil-Am history. Also in attendance were Fil-Am Pinole Vice Mayor Cameron Sasai, Fil-Am Berryessa Union School District Board Member Thelma Boac, Fil-Am Daly City Planning Commissioner Cheryll Catuar, and Fil-Am former Union City Councilmember Pat Gacoscos. A video message from Fil-Am California Attorney Rob Bonta was played during the event.
