PH CONSULATE IN SF MEETS KAYA FOUNDERS TO FOSTER STARTUP COLLABORATION

The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco’s Economic Team, led by Consul Vanessa Bago-Llona and Senior Trade Commissioner Celynne Layug, met with Paulo Campos, Founding Managing Partner of early stage venture capital Kaya Founders, at co-working space Dynamico at the Philippine Center in San Francisco on 20 May 2024.

The meeting with KAYA Founders, a venture capital firm spearheaded by Filipinos, aims to foster partnerships with Silicon Valley and other innovation centers in the U.S. to further boost the tech startup ecosystem in the Philippines.

Campos is also speaking at the Stanford U.S.-Asia Technology Management Center about the trends and opportunities in the Philippine startup ecosystem.From left to right: Economic assistant Jennifer Sto.
