PHILIPPINE CONSULATE GRACES SAN FRANCISCO FLEET WEEK ASSOCIATION’S NETWORKING EVENT HONORING FIL-AM REAR ADMIRAL

Philippine Consul General Neil Ferrer attended the San Francisco Fleet Week Association’s Networking Event, held at the Marines’ Memorial Club on 01 June 2023. Joining the Consul General were Deputy Consul General Raquel Solano and Consul Rowena Pangilinan-Daquipil. 

In his remarks, Consul General Ferrer underscored the special relations between the Philippines and the United States underpinned by strong people-to-people ties, and the positive momentum in all aspects of the relations, including defense and security, reinforced by the many high-level bilateral engagements including the recent US visit of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. He also expressed pride in the achievements of Rear Admiral Leonard “Butch” Dollaga, one of the top officials in the U.S. Navy who is of Filipino descent.
