NEW TESTING & QUARANTINE PROTOCOLS FOR ARRIVING INTERNATIONAL PASSENGERS – 8 May 2021
The public is advised that starting 0001H of 8 May 2021, Philippine Standard Time, new testing and quarantine protocols for all arriving international passengers in the Philippines shall be:
- Mandatory quarantine for 14 days;
- International arrivals, however, shall be required to undergo a facility or hotel quarantine for 10 days upon arrival;
- Testing will be on Day 7, with Day 1 being the date of arrival/check-in;
- International arrivals may continue their quarantine at home or in their hotels (as the case may be) from Day 11 up to Day 14, provided they get a negative RT-PCR test result.

The new advisory on the requirement for all arriving passengers to undergo a 14-day mandatory quarantine is implemented pursuant to Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases Resolution No. 114 Series of 2021 dated 6 May 2021.
