PHILIPPINE CONSUL GENERAL IN SAN FRANCISCO CALLS ON SAN FRANCISCO’S DEAN OF THE CONSULAR CORPS

Newly arrived Consul General of the Philippines in San Francisco Neil Frank R. Ferrer  called on the Dean of the San Francisco Consular Corps (SFCC) Consul Martin Rauchbauer of Austria virtually via Zoom on 02 February 2021.

Aside from heading the Austrian Consulate in San Francisco, Consul Rauchbauer serves as the Head of Open Austria, which is Austria’s official office in Silicon Valley, focusing on tech partnerships and collaborations.

Consul Rauchbauer, on behalf of the SFCC, extended a warm welcome to Consul General Ferrer upon his arrival in San Francisco.  Both of them looked forward to closer exchanges and cooperation between and among the members of the San Francisco consular community.  Consul General Ferrer remarked, “The Philippine Consulate General remains committed to work and collaborate with the SFCC on matters of mutual concern, including COVID-19 vaccination.” / END
